I visited my brother a couple of days ago before the cold icy weather hit our area. He was doing well and felt encouraged by his new doctor. It turns out that the new doctor wants to wait a couple of more weeks before determining the need for surgery on the 4 broken places of his collar bone. I did some research last night on the web to clarify answers for questions we have had concerning the whole situation. I never realized what an interesting bone it is to heal and how rarely surgeries are performed. So here I am learning more medical information and feeling with even greater awe at the amazing ways God made our bodies.

In April of 2001, I had a dream that I was on one of the top floors of a very tall sky scraper. I wasn’t sure who all the people were in the office where I was but most of them were in suits and looked like business people. All of a sudden the building started to shake and sway back and forth and I knew if I didn’t get out of it I would be going down with all of those people to our death!

I know that colors have meanings just like things have meaning. (I think it is pretty universally known that a dove means peace for example) But I don’t know what the color blue means to God. I only know that while I was in the midst of this new demonstration of my love for Him I felt and heard these words: Simplicity, Love, Freedom

There have been so many times in my life where someone has given me a word of encouragement that has completely lined up with something I was thinking in my head and keeping to myself. There have been also so many other times when I have been praying with someone and I have shared a picture or a thought from my mind and asked if it meant anything to them and they have been amazed and encouraged for whatever was shared to be so right on in what they were thinking and needing to hear. It is not magic or trickery of any sort. It is simply God validating what we already know in our hearts.

“Abundance of Grace”, not just grace but Abundance of Grace
